This training session is designed for any faculty or administrative assistants that have questions on how to setup the gradebook in eLearning.

We will tentatively go over the following items:

Setting up the gradebook categories
Setting the grade scales
Correctly calculating grades and extra credit
Dwonloading the grades into Excel
Answer any questions

Location: ED 326 Computer Lab in the Education Building Third Floor

Time: Same as in the title of this message.

Signing up: Online by clicking on "Register for Event" button. If you do not see the 'Register for Event' button, click on the training title and it should be at the bottom of the page. Training is limited to Cairn employees only.

This training session is designed for faculty who know how to post course resources, use (slightly) regular assignments but want to know how to use additional features such as assignments (regular and Turnitin) and forums.

Tentative agenda:

  • Creating and grading assignments
  • Using Turnitin
  • Creating and using course forums/discussions
  • Using quizzes
  • Other tools such as the duplicate feature etc.
  • Q&A and other new features

Location: ED326 (Third Floor Computer Lab in the Smith Building).

Time: Same as in the title of this message.
